Our Mission

The mission of WeAssistU Foundation is to provide opportunities for youth to participate in youth empowerment, mentorship and youth sports (specifically girls softball) excel in high school and prepare them for college or pursue a professional career. We believe that by empowering youth and providing them opportunities to pursue their passion and interest, it will help them make positive decisions and assist them to excel in life.

Our secondary mission is to assist and empower foundations, athletes, philanthropist and community to increase giving to support programs for youth.

Lastly, we assists in finding resources for bullying, domestic violence in youth and young adults. We are a safe haven and resource for youth to talk to professionals about mental health issues. 

Our Vision

The vision of WeAssistU Foundation is to inspire youth to proactively engage in their education as well as pursue their passion while being mentored and guided by our mentors and life coaches. WeAssistu Foundation partners with other non-profit organizations to encourage increased giving to youth programs. We empower our youth especially the BIPOC youth to take charge of their future and be actively involved with the community.

Our Story

WeAssistU Events For A Cause was founded in 2004 as an event management company where our profits were donated to various charities. Back in 2004, the main focus of the business was to assist foundations and non-profits in raising money for youth programs by producing revenue-generating events. 

In 2009, we partnered with the late NFL Alumni Nesby Glasgow and launched Glasgow Sports Marketing to support and assist athletes with their branding, community outreach and philanthropy.

In 2020, WeAssistu Foundation was launched and licensed as a 501C3 non-profit and charity organization by the IRS.

For the last 2 decades, WeAssistU worked with the following athletes: NFL Legend Michael Clayton (Generation Next Foundation), NFL Legend Deion Branch (Deion Branch Foundation), NFL Legend Nate Burleson, NBA Great Jamal Crawford, NFL Legend Roy Lewis, the late NFL Legend Nesby Glasgow, NFL Legend Randall Morris (Randall Morris Foundation), MLS Champion James Riley and many others.
